Soothing use of White and Mint Green

Love the Mint and White Theme of this bedroom from happy living design.
Although I am a pinkaholic, lately I have been attracted by more natural neutral tones but am still not sure I can live with a pinkless room.

My Favourite Ikea Bedroom Design

Have always loved the blue and white theme for the bedroom although I am also partial to pink and birch.

Natural Wood Dining Table with Benches

Big Sur Dining Table from Crate & Barrel in combination with two Sur Benches would present a perfect dining table set for someone who loves all natural wood furniture and prefers contemporary decor. Big Sur' simple style gracefully outlines the rustic beauty of solid wood (European white oak). This wood dining table set shows all "naturally occurring splits, cracks and knots" and "exposes tree's inner rings". You can buy the Big Sur in two sizes: Small for a price of $1,299 and Large for $1,599. If this table and bench set fits your style of casual dining then go to Crate & Barrel for details (look for SKU 450898).

Modern Bed with Leather Headboard

Designed by Bruno Rainaldi, the Boss bed uses lush material and dynamic texture to create a minimalist decadence. Built on a steel frame wrapped in polyurethane foam, the Boss bed has strength behind its comfort. The cool geometric steel legs contrast the curving texture of the warm leather headboard. The quilted effect adds deep defining shadows to the lush material. The headboard adds a fabulous graphic style to the room, and is available in a range of rectangular shapes. With a choice between tall dramatic headboards and wide stretches of jet-set elegance, there is a perfect compliment for any space. A fabulous design that creates a sensuous surface, Alivar offer a modern bed that can transform rooms into dynamic spaces

Lazy Island Sofa

As children, we all love to make cozy dens, and as adults we still love the kind of comfortable, slightly concealed space that the Lazy Island from Walter Knoll provides. We can pretend that it’s just a grown-up and sensible sofa, unfolding the square to make two convenient seating areas in the corner configuration… but we all know that the Walter Knoll Lazy Island must be at its most wonderful when it is shaped into a lovely big square island of repose. The corner sofa provides fantastic relaxation when it is rotated into the more traditional sofa set up – however the ultimate in sprawling luxury is certainly when the two adjustable wings in the backrest are rotated to make the lazy island. Smooth, modern design means the sofa looks great in both positions. Add the fun of this functional indulgence to your living room with the Walter Knoll Lazy Island.

Spa Shower

Luxurious warmth beneath twinkling lights, the Atrium spa shower makes a striking statement in bold vibrant colour. A sculptural enclosure of curving glass panels, the Atrium spa shower offers a multi-functional showers space. With plenty of space in which to stretch out or share, the Italian shower cabin offers several luxurious therapies. From the steam shower cabin and the three rain effect shower heads to the light therapy and aromatherapy, the Atrium spa offers the modern definition of relaxing. For a luxurious addition the cabin features an intensive heat treatment. With heated glass panels that preheat the cabin and wrap you in waves of soothing warmth, the Atrium is comfortable even in winter months. With a final flourish the Atrium studs the enclosure ceiling with a spatter of 'stars'. A brilliant free-standing spa shower, the Atrium by Albatros offers a crisp and clean modern style packed full of luxury warmth and comfort.

Pretty Shower Curtains from Target

Why is nothing this pretty available in Singapore?! Although if we were to install a glassed in shower there would be no need for these accessories. Nice to look at though.

Pottery Barn Bathroom: White with a Feature Wall

(Source: http://www.potterybarn.com/gift/thm/THMBMA/index.cfm)

Love how the feature wall contrasts with the white but is neutral enough to be not too overwhelming. Especially important in a small space.

Designing for Small Spaces

Focus on simplicity. Visual unity among decorations enables the room to maintain a sense of class, without becoming cluttered and closed in. The details, furnishings and decorations, should be simple and balance each other.

Paint and color easily achieve this consistency. Paint only one wall a rich color, leaving the rest neutral.

Most of the color palette of the room should be neutral adding to the sense of space. Use darker and richer colors as accents. Cool colors, like blue and green, are best for a smaller room, as they are distance colors.
